Diving

Picture
Borneo contains a wealth of incredible dive sites from Sapi and Gaya just off the coast of Kota Kinabalu, to the world-renowned coral reefs around the islands of Sipadan and Mabul, famous for the huge turtles that live there.

Any dive package you could desire can be booked through Tropicana lodge, from your 1st qualification as a PADI open water diver, to multiple or specialist dives for the more experienced diver, including night diving, cave diving, wreck diving and many more…

Mt Kinabalu

At 4,095 metres (13,435 ft) above sea level, Mt Kinabalu is the third highest peak in all of Southeast Asia and is a must for all would-be adventurers. The sunrise at the summit is breathtaking and really makes the climb worthwhile!

Guided climbs can be booked through Tropicana Lodge but advanced booking at peak times is recommended.

Sepilok & Kinabatangan Safari

Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre covers around 43 sq km and is home to around 80 Orangutans. These sociable primates can be observed feeding on the specially constructed viewing platform twice daily at 10.00 and 15.00.

Accommodation and transport can be arranged through Tropicana Lodge.
